Sweet

Isn't she just a little doll!! And this paper is so yummy, and perfect for this little creation. The paper is Cosmo Cricket - Peggy Sue, and Tall Sally, from Eclectic Paperie. I'm finding that working with patterned background paper is the only way to go. Everything here is layered using Chocolate Chip, and dimensionals. I used Vanilla with the Cuttlebug - Bloom Dots folder also from Eclectic Paperie. I think my best find here is the Glue Pad. It is used the same as a stamp pad, if you notice the glitter flowers on the burgundy paper, I stamped my stamp into the glue pad, then on my paper, and sprinkled with glitter. That's it!!! NO HEAT TOOL. I think this is the best thing ever. Guess what? I bought it from Eclectic Paperie. ;-) That sweet little girl is a Homespun Cotton Scrap that can be taped or sewn, and if you want to you can fray the edges. Its from Crafty Secrets. Very vintage and just darling. I used the Sweet on you set from SU to stamp Sweet, and punched out using the 1 3/8" punch also from Stampin' Up! I cut a little flower from the background paper and attached it with a brad to the circle. Finishing by adding ribbon and more brads. I really like this card. Thanks for looking. ;-)

On my Gosh!!!! I have fallen in love with BasicGray papers!!! from Eclectic Paperie, they are so colorful , know matter what you put on them, it always turns out nice. The background print here is called Beatrice. It is so fresh, and the colors are some of my favorite, I just couldn’t resist making something with it. Big Blooms, flowers, Gladsome Garden (stem), and Mixed Bouquet (leaves) were stamped with Pearlesent Olive, Orchid and Purple pigment inks from Eclectic Paperie, called Dew Drops, that are to die for!!! The coverage is wonderful, and solid. They dry without heat setting them, and cost effective also!!!! I used Whisper White cardstock and Fiskars punch for the lace, Snow Queen (blue) strip, and stamped “love” from Wonderful Words. Some of the flowers were just sponged with Pretty in Pink on Whisper White, and the leaves are Certainly Celery. I used 3 heart brads on the Word Window punch and attached using Dimensionals, then tied on ribbon. Place buttons on flower centers, and your done. *wink*

Big Blooms

First I want to apologise for not posting here for quite some time! I‘ve had major computer problems, and today is the first day I’ve been able to update my little crafty place. You are all very important to me, and I always appreciate your comments. Thank you for being so supportive. You are much appreciated.

I don’t have a pattern for this one because depending on what stamp set you use, will determine where you fold and cut the side front. I wanted my flower off to the side, so I placed one petal on the fold, and the card front edge down the middle of the flower. That’s your pattern. I hope that makes since! Then I placed Chocolate Chip cardstock up under the flower, and with a pencil drew a line about 1/8” from top to bottom. Please refer to picture. I used the marker on the very edge of the butterfly so it would blend more with the card front. I LOVE those jumbo brads *wink* Have fun ;-) Thanks for lookin’

Hello Everybody,

I know I haven't posted anything for awhile, but with taxes, family stuff, and having the flu not once but TWICE!!!! I haven't been able to.  But, I will be posting some new things this next week now that things have kinda settled down.  I miss hearing from all of you, and I hope all is well with you and your family.

I made the card when I was really sick with the flu!!!!  Just couldn't get the color I wanted, but I do like the card, just not one of my favs.  One of my co-workers had this set, and when I saw it, I just loved it.  But, once I started working with it, I noticed that everything was brown, and I tried to add color to it.

What a fun project.  I was looking at Dawn Griffith's, tutorial the on the Shadow Box Card the morning on Splitcoaststampers.com, and wanted to give it a try.  Great job Dawn! the instructions are very easy to follow with such great results.

Feeling better!

I have been sick with the flu, doing taxes, computer issues, family stuff, and no time for stamping!!!!!! I just started feeling better and stamping again, so I hope to post something soon.
