Hello everybody, and welcome to Crafty Secrets, Design Team Challenge today. Our challenge was to use one or more of the new (most recent) Crafty Secret releases. So I thought I would play with the new Sew Nice Creative Scraps, and Material Girl Clear Art Stamp set. I love the new Creative Scraps. The images shown here are on the reverse side (inside), and the colors are so soft and pretty I loved working with them. I did color both ladies shown here with Copic Markers, so they would stand out a little more, because my background paper, and other embellishments are such a light color. Spellbinders™ Long Classic Rectangles LG, Long Classic Scalloped Rectangles LG Nestabilities™ were used to mat both images, and Blossom Nestabilities™ was used to create the felt flower, then embroidery thread to make the French Knots in the center. The image attached to the flower is also from the new Sew Nice Creative Scraps, and a few more French Knots.
Please be sure and follow the links below for the other Design Team Member, I'm sure their projects are just beautiful.
I will be back a little bit later today to check and make sure this post is OK (spelling, layout etc), It's 4:30 am, and I'm very tired. That's what I get for hanging out with my granddaughter last night and today LOL! I hadn't even started my project for today. So, I hope everything is OK, I'm still working out the bug but have no regrets for switching to a Mac ;)
Thank you for visiting - Linda ;)
NOTE: Julie's on vacation this week, but she will be back next time ;) |

Gorgeous as always! Love the old-fashioness (is that a word???? :-) of it. I remember back a couple of years or so, you bought a mini Cooper. Do you still love it? You were SOOOO excited about getting that car after the long wait.
