Hello again, this is going to be a short post today (what's new lately, right?)... With my retirement being today (can you believe it?), dinner plans for Wednesday, Thursday and Friday night with friends and family, and I hope they have nothing bigger then that planned LOL!! Anyway, I've had very little time to stamp/create anything for today's E-Team Mission but the last few days I have been playing around making this flower (Wendy Vecchi's Art Parts Clearly for Art Modeling Film from eclectic Paperie.) After I finished making the flowers, I made some notes on what I would do differently next time, specifically how the plastic reacts to the heat gun etc.. I also thought I would give Wendy's Art Parts Sample Pack a try, I LOVE them... totally hooked on them, and can't wait to try her other available kits. Lucky for me I purchased the sample package with different projects in it, just received her books here and this one here yesterday, and every chance I have I read them. Both books are full of tips, photos, and instructions on how to create her wonderful art. I see more of Wendy's products in my future LOL!!
Note: I will be back and give instructions for this project some time on Saturday :) (Due to family and friends being here from out of town for my retirement party Saturday night, I have not been able to do the steps on how to make the flower. As soon as I can I will do that for you, but it may not be till next week).
Today's E-Team Mission was to distress, I'm running on the fly with with post, don't have all the details listed here for you today. Be sure and visit eclectic Paperie's blog (here), and Daisy will share all of the important information with you. If my memory is correct, I read she is having some pretty good sale's plus a giveaway :)
As always, be sure and visit the rest of the E-Team so you can see the beautiful projects they have created for you today.
Thanks for visiting, as of 5:00 pm today I am officially retired from my day job, from then on I will be able to visit with you MORE often, and that truly makes me happy.
Hugs Linda ❤

Congratulations on retiring. It is wonderful to not have to be somewhere at a certain time 5 days a week because it is a job. I love the way your flowers turned out. I definitely want to copy. Until I saw this post, I was not really interested in the Art Modeling Film. Now I am definitely adding it to my cart. Anxious to read your instructions and tips on working with it.
