NEW Product Show Offs!!

Good morning everyone! Are you ready to see some beautiful projects made with Crafty Secrets new products? Today I have two projects to share with you, so that means lots of pictures.   Both projects were made using the new  Creating with Vintage Patterns CD   available from Crafty Secrets, just put your paper in and print... it's that simple.  I also used some of the new Mini Vintage Creative Scraps, and a new stamp set.

I have tweaked my back, and sitting here is a little painful so again this is going to be another short post. 

I have a tutorial to share with you today, but it's not a technique.  It's something I learned while at the fabric store, and had no idea until the lady cutting my material showed me.  I'm sure most of you already know this, but for some (myself included), it was totally new.

Supplies for Project One:

Stamps: None.

 Image:   Mini - Vintage - Crafty Secrets.

 Stamps Pads: Vintage Photo, Victorian Velvet Distress Ink – eclectic Paperie.

 Cardstock: Creating with Vintage Patterns CD – Crafty Secrets.

 Ribbon: May Arts Crochet Lace, Wrinkle Ribbon – The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.

Copic Markers: 0 Colorless Blender, BG10 Cool Shadow, G00 Jade Green, B00 Frost Blue, R20 Blush, R00 Pinkish White – eclectic Paperie.

Misc.:  Glossy Accents, Snow Cap, Shell Pink Cloudy Blue Acrylic Paint Dabbers. Buttons. Glitter, Thread. 

 

Project Two:

My DH is a Golfer, and a good one at that, he just won a Bronze metal at the Fireman Olympics in NewPort Beach last week.  This project is a little Golf tin that can hold all of his tee's, ball markers etc that collects on the top of our dresser lol,  It's not as dark in real life, as it is in the pictures, but it's the best I could get them to look. 

 

 

How to cut burlap.

Decide how wide you want your fabric to be, and pull up a loop.

Start pulling, and continue until you pull the thread completely out.

 Can you see where the thread was.  

Different angle. 

Start cutting in the blank space. Your burlap will be even, plus the edge of your remaining fabric will be even as well. 

Now I have a piece of burlap the width I need, and the string can be used to thread my buttons for my project.

Wow.. you definatly mastered girlie AND masculine with these cards. They are both fantastic Linda. First one is so sweet and pretty and the second one.. the inking is perfect! love them both!
