Good morning bloggers, welcome to another JustRite Friday Challenge. Our challenge for this week was to create a Vintage Masculine card, or project. Chick here to find out all of the details.
For today's card I used JustRite's Vintage Travel, Cozy Plaid, and Going Places Vintage Labels images with Spellbinders die templates to create the foil Sprockets. For me, this card was way outside my comfort zone, so I asked DH if he would give some input. I pulled supplies from my stach that fit the masculine theme so he could see what I had, and we dug in. Even though there's no bows, ribbon or lace I think this is one of my favorite projects because, it's a project we created together.
That's it for me today, be sure and visit JustRite's blog, and the rest of the designers for more inspiration and information. Come join us if you can.

Stamps: Going Places Vintage Labels, Vintage Travel, Cozy Plaid Background - JustRite Papercraft.

What did you use to distress the gears...I tried shoe polish, stamp pad, and paint and nothing worked. I'd appreciate a reply as I'm making this great card for my grandson who is on an aircraft carrier in the Persian Gulf right now...I know he'll love it.
Thanks, Barb @ ibefat@yahoo.com

OOOOO!! I think you and the hubby need to create together more often! While I love your girly stuff (since I am sooo NOT girly), I LOVE this as it is something that I would love to create for one of the many men in my life!
