Hello dear friends, well another year is almost gone, and 2013 is quickly approaching. Are you going to make some New Year resolutions this year? I am LOL! Here are just a few:
1. Quite biting my fingernails.... (I say this every year.)
2. Be a lot better about blogging, and not save everything for the last week of each month. ;)
3. With regard to crafting, step outside my comfort zone, and work with more than just paper.
4. Start a workout routine, and become more physically fit.
5. Continue working on relationships with family and friends.
I think that should do it LOL! I'm pretty confident about three of the five, we will see.
Today's project was fun to make, because I love making vintage projects. This is the first time I've used Spellbinders Card Creator Matting Basics "A", and Matting Basics "B". They truly make card making much easier, with regard to doing a lot of layering, and I love piling on the layers. If you haven't tried them you should :) Lately I really like using the Krylon Gold Leafing Pen, I think it helps add a little something extra to any project. I also wanted to mention that I cut my seam binding in half so it wouldn't be as wide, so I could thread it through the lace. NOTE: Cut Seam Binding will fray a lot, in this case I didn't care, because it added to the vintage look.
Well, that's it for now, I will be back real soon... Remember you can click on the pictures for a better view, and all supplies are listed below with links.
Thanks for stopping by - Linda ❤❤

Linda, I love your blog and get updates by email. I rarely ever comment and I am sorry for that. Your work is beautiful and always inspiring. I attempt to case many things and appreciate your tutorials and excellent tips. I wanted to give you this bit of information that may help with one of your resolutions. My daughter had a horrible habit of biting her nails and we tried EVERYTHING! We even paid for acrylics and she bit those! We have recently found a cure and she has grown her nails out to a lovely length. We purchased a product called "Stop the Bite". It came from Walmart and you paint it over your nails and it lasts a few days. It can even go over polished nails. I really hope this helps and thank you again for your fabulous projects!

Linda, it is beautiful! Love the way you've tied in the three main colors with the flowers, and the general softness of your masterpiece. So gorgeous with the double sided layers. Thanks for sharing about the seam binding, too. Now, about your New Years Goals - they are wonderful! I share some of them, too. Happy New Year, Linda!
