I can't believe Gage is three year's old, he's such a good little guy, but I think all Grandparents say that about their Grand kids right LOL!  It seems like yesterday we were at the hospital for his birth.

He's Growing Up!

Hello again, this is a layout of our Grandson Gage, he turned 3 years old in August.  I can't believe he is growing up so fast, what a doll.  This layout is simple because his mom likes simple, she say's "I don't like all the stuff", so I didn't add a lot of stuff LOL.  The picture has a lot of white in it, so I thought less would be best.  I will probably do another layout using this picture somewhere down the road, so I can add all the stuff :)

Beautiful

Hello again, today I wanted to share a beautiful picture of my sweet granddaughter Jackie.  I have know idea where she was going, but I think she looked great :)  it was taken with a cell phone, but turned out good enough to make a scrapbook page.  

I really lightened my picture because of the black cardstock, other wise you would not have been able to see anything.  If you look at her picture, she is waring a yellow/green tank top with a black lace over lay.  I tried to create the same look by sponging under the picture with yellow/green distress ink, then cut/embossed black cardstock with Spellbinders Botanical Swirls, and placed it over the sponged area.  The large black scalloped circle was made using the Grand Decorative Circles One, and Grand Circles Nestabilities.  I had a package of Black Circle Nestabling, so I placed them around the pink circles that were stamped with Becca's new stamp set called, Just the Right Words.  I was lucky to have some ribbon and Prima flowers that matched the flower in her hair...

Silly Little Boys...

Hello dear bloggers, today I have a fun, quick and simple 8" x 8" scrapbook page of our silly little  grandson's.  I used these pictures for a different project here not to long ago, but mom thought she needed a page for the photo album she started.

The majority of the die templates used on this project are from PageMaps by Becky Fleck.  The best part about working with these die's for scrapbooking is, they have sketches that coordinate with the dies, so I can put a page together rather quickly.  For this page I combined two sketches together, which is always fun.  I also follow Becky's PageMaps blog that has sketches for cards, tags, minimaps etc,  they have LOTS to chose from.  So if you have pictures you need to scrapbook, and putting it off, give PageMaps a try.  One of the projects I'm working on behind the scenes is a photo album for my oldest daughter as a Christmas present...  I can't say to much at this point because she reads my blog, but using PageMaps has helped me ALOT LOL!

Little Girls...

Hi again.  Today I wanted to share a sweet layout that's simple, and I used colors I thought would complement the photo.  Our friend was nice enough to give me some pictures of her daughters to work with, and I just love this one.  Look at those faces... just adorable.

I'm not a scrapbooker per say, about a year or so ago I purchased a book by Becky Fleck called scrapbook page|maps 2,  when I was cleaning/rearranging my craftroom I found it.  I was so excited because Becky Fleck has designed some die templates you can see here.  So for today's project I used a few of her dies, along with one of her page/map sketches.  You can also check out the page/maps blog  page|maps by becky fleck.  The white flowers are Prima, and the little light blue/golden flowers were made using one of Becky's dies.  The curly ques were the scraps from making the little flowers, and I loved them, so I used them.

Congratulations - Layout

Hello everybody.  Today I have a quick post to share with you of my new Great Granddaughter that will be placed in a frame.  I wanted this layout to be simple, and focus on the colors in the picture.  On white cardstock, I stamped JustRite's Elegant Fronds Background Stamp with black ink, then cut it in half to create a long layer under the picture, then added some red underneath.  The flowers were made with Spellbinders Standard Circles SM (various sizes), then sprayed with Tattered Angels Chalkboard Spray, then added some Stickles around the edges of two flowers.  With Copic markers I colored the pearls, and placed them along side the flowers. Last I stamped Congratulations, and the image in the bottom right hand corner using JustRite's Vintage Rose Medallions stamp Set.

Our Boys - Spellbinders

Hello there, today's project is one that I'm very excited to share...  why you ask?  well it's a picture of both of our Grandson's, Gage (right), Witten (left).  I get so many emails from you asking how Witten is doing, so I thought a picture is worth a thousand words.  Not only does the picture show Gage playing with his little brother, it shows Witten is getting stronger every day.  DH and I were so excited, a couple of weeks ago Witten visited our house for the first time since he was born, it was a wonderful thing.  Thank you again for your continued thoughts and prayers :)

For a Friend - Spellbinders

Hello dear bloggers, today I'm sharing a layout I made for a sweet friend of mine.  She has two beautiful daughters, and this sweet picture is of her youngest that is now a Senior in high school LOL!!  I'm always asking our friends for pictures of their kids so I can make scrapbook pages, and I was thrilled when I received this one.  Don't get me wrong, I love making pages for my kids/grand kids, but my kids don't like the girlie thing, so it's fun to go all out with pinks...

I Want to Drive Your Car - Scrapbook Page

Hello there blog friends. Today I have a fun scrapbook page to share of Allison's son while he was sitting in a car.  I've used a few of Allison's photos in the past, because of her talent.  Allison's goal is to be a professional photographer, and I'm thankful she allows me to make scrapbook pages with her work.  You can visit her facebook page here Photographs by Allison. 

The cardstock is K&Company's Black & Ivory Paper Pad I found at Target. I used Copic Markers to color the flowers, leaves, and sky on the largest circle, then used ink pads, and sponged behind the picture with colors to make the photo pop.  I find it harder to create a scrapbook page for little boy's than for little girls.  As much as I love working with flowers, I never feel right putting them on pages for little boys LOL!!

Layout for a Friend - Spellbinders

Hi there, I hope all of you had a very Merry Christmas, I know we did.  It's been crazy busy around our house, I’m sure it’s the same way at yours.  Sorry I didn’t get a chance to post anything yesterday, time just flew by…  I want to thank each and everyone of you for your continued support, lovely comments, and emails, they really mean a lot to me.  Now it’s almost time for another new year, and I look forward to continued creating and sharing with you :)

My project today is a Christmas gift I made for our daughter’s friend, Allison who wants to be a professional photographer.
