I'm a HUGE fan of all things Melissa Frances, and this paper collection called C'est La Vie is a new favorite.  I like the little cardstock banner and tags that's available, and match the paper for some great embellishments.  The butterfly, roses, and leaves were made using Spellbinders die templates adding lots of dimension.  After making the flowers, I sprayed them with Glimmer Mist,  added white gesso across the tops of each petal with a medium size paint brush.  I added foam tape between each layer, and the Distrezz-it-All around the bottom layer,  then added ribbon and pearls.

The layout of this tag is much like last week's project here.  I think it's cool how different they look due to the dimension of this weeks tag.

I LOVE this  this paper collection from BoBunny called Country Garden, and thought I would let the paper do all the work.  I  just embellished it with ribbon, roses, and die templates, then used the Distrezz-it-All around the bottom two layers, with foam tape between all layers.

My project today is a simple/elegant card. With the VersaMark stamp pad, stamp the Heart Scroll Background on Vellum cardstock, then heat set white embossing powder, and attach it to gray cardstock with vellum tape.  I added Prima's Lace and Pearl borders cut to fit my card front.  Cut/emboss the heart die template, stamp the sentiment with VersaMark, again heat set white embossing powder. Attach the heart, bow and Prima flower as shown.  I did add more Rhinestones to the heart.

I must admit I was a little worried when I learned what we had to focus on today LOL!!!  As mush as I love Red, White & Blue, it's way outside my crafty comfort zone...  So, I elected to color this beautiful LaBlanche image using Distress Inks.  I will be the first to tell you I'm no expert when it comes to birds, so I colored mine to fit today's challange.  I kept the rest of the card simple and white, so the bird would pop.  The little white Prima flower was colored with red Copic Markers so it would also match.

My card today is for my sweet Granddaughter...  She just had surgery on her shoulder, so she's a little down and out :(  I think it may give her a little pick-me-up when I visit her tomorrow.  I love the Heart Scroll Background stamp, it's so pretty, and perfect for this card.  The flower was colored with Copic Markers, Burlap String was wrapped around the card front several times, I also made several loops and tied my bow.

Ribbon Inspiration/Stamp Simply Style - Coffee, Tea or Me?

 

Hello there dear bloggers, and welcome to another Saturday of Ribbon Inspiration/Stamp Simply Style - Coffee, Tea or Me?   Sharon has a "Coffee/Tea" category over at The Stamp SImply Ribbon Store that you can see here.

I think my card today has a shabby chic feel, with lots of layering.  I used JustRite's Lace Borders Two stamp, and stamped down the right side with VersaMark ink, then added white embossing powder, and heat set with heating tool.  I stamped my cup with Memento Rich Cocoa, then added some shading with Copic Markers.  The three little flowers were all white, but I rubbed some Tattered Rose Distress Ink across the top of each one, and with a paint brush and water,  smoothed it down toward the center for a softer look.
