Hi again, I have two more projects to finish and post before midnight tomorrow LOL!!  I think I'm going to make it...  I love this project, I know I say that a lot, but it's so shabby :).  Once again I used all my favorite's, flowers, glitter, Ribbon, Gold Pen and bling, what more could I ask for.

Hello there it's been awhile, just like many of you I've been doing all things Christmas.  Shopping, wrapping, cooking, visiting friends and family, parties, and last but not least being sick...  But I'm doing much better now, and I think I have everything finished for Christmas.   I mentioned in a previous post that DH and I were having the entire family (22) here on December 15th, for our Thanksgiving/Christmas dinner.  It was so much fun having everyone in one place at the same time, but I was not feeling well when they were here, and by the time they left, I was ready to do absolutely NOTHING!!!  I took a few days to do nothing but clean my house, finished helping my Granddaughter move in (it's so much fun having her here), and decided I wanted to take a few days for myself LOL!!  

Like last month, and the month before, I'm behind with my design team commitments, so I'm working like a busy bee getting seven projects finished between now and the end of the month.  So, I will be back real soon. 

Today's project is one made from left over supplies, or something I made and didn't use at the time and placed in my huge box of stuff.  Trust me I have lots of items I've made and decided to use it later LOL.

Thanks for visiting today, I have been having fun with my family, but I do miss sharing with all of you as well.

Season's Greetings Tag

Hello there, today's project is for a good friend that loves bling and pink as much as I do LOL!  I can't wait to give it to her.  

• Cut/emboss Fall Foliage numerous times, then cut in half.  Depending on how big your circle is, and how full you want yours to be, will determine how many branches you will need, for reference I used about 20 of the same die on this project.  Now sponge the ends.
• Cut/emboss Standard Circles LG, and Standard Circles SM to create a base for your branches, then put two layers of foam tape around the bottom.    (See picture below.)

• Place Glue Dots and foam tape on the branch ends, and place around the circle, and I always scrunch my leaves.
• Cut/emboss Grand Decorative Circles One, and stamp sentiment in center.
• Assemble as shown, add ribbon, bow, glitter, and bling.

Sorry this is another short post, but the kids are here, so I need to go and make sure they aren't snooping around the Christmas Tree LOL!

Christmas Ornament/Tag – Spellbinders

Hello there, today’s project has bling, bling, and more bling.  When I was at the Spellbound event in Pasadena, I noticed a beautiful framed project up on the front podium.  I took a picture of it because I wanted to recreate it as a Christmas tag/ornament when I returned home.   I was looking at the beautiful posts on The Gilded Life blog, and much to my surprise I noticed they had posted a tutorial on how to make the project I fell in love with at the actual event. You can see it here.  

• Cut/emboss your flowers, and leaves. I used a Manila folder to make my flowers because German Glass Glitter can be heavy, so a heavy weight cardstock is recommended. The leaves are white cardstock.
• Cut/emboss the Labels Fourteen die template with decorative cardstock, distress the edges, and glue to Nestaboard. Set aside and let dry.
• I painted the backs of my flowers with Gold Metallic Paint, but you don’t need to if you don’t want to.  I think it gives a more finished look, and let dry.
• With an old paintbrush, apply Tacky Glue to the flower fronts, then place entire flower face down in gold Glitter Glass making sure the entire front is covered.  Set aside and let dry.
• Spray Cream Seam binding with Glimmer Mist, wrinkle it up in a ball, set aside and let dry, then tie your bows.
• Assemble as shown, and stamp your sentiment.
• Note: all dies were cut/embossed using Spellbinders Grand Calibur Die Cutting & Embossing Machine.

I couldn't get a very good picture of this project, but in real life it's beautiful.  The last picture is more true to the real projects :)

Shabby Warm Wishes Christmas Tag/Ormanemt- Spellbinders

Hello there, today I have another Christmas tag/ornament to share.  It's quick, simple, and oh so shabby with lots of bling :)  

• Cut/emboss all die templates with the Grand Calibur, and distress the edges of the circle.
• With a #6 Round Brush, and white Gesso Acrylic paint, dry brush around the die edges making sure you can still see the color of the cardstock.
• Add foam tape between each layer, add glue around all edges using a two-way glue pin, then add glitter.
• Spray ivory seam binding with Glimmer Mist, and let dry, then tie your bow,  add Prima bling, and White Tulle.
• Assemble as shown.  That's it.

Vintage Christmas Ornament/Tag - Spellbinders

 Hello dear bloggers...   Since my last post, I spend four days at The Gilded Life Spellbound event in Pasadena.  I'm so excited about the projects I made, more about that later, and pictures.   Came home for a couple of days, then my oldest daughter and I drove to Arizona so I could attend the Spellbinders retreat.   OMG!! what a wonderful time it was seeing every one in person, and not by e-mail.  My head is spinning with all the new things I have learned the last couple of weeks.  After returning home it was catch up time for things around the house, and spending time with DH :)

Now its time to catch up on my blog.  Once again I'm way behind with team commitments, so I'm going to have many posts the next few days, PLUS doing things for CHA.  I can't wait for you to see whats coming your way :)

Today I'm sharing a Vintage Christmas Ornament/Tag with you.  It was easy to put together, and I love the end result.

• Place large ornament die on dark cardstock,  trace around the edge with a pencil then cut out with scissors, distress edges.
• Cut/emboss large ornament die template on lighter cardstock with the Grand Calibur.
• Cut/emboss Edgeabilities die templates with the Grand Calibur as shown using pink cardsotck.  (Note: after cutting/embossing the first edge, I placed my ribbon on the cardstock under the decorative edge so I could get the width needed to make my second decorative cut).
• Place your decorative edges on the large cut/embossed ornament with removable tape.  Turn over, and trim the edges following the ornament edge with scissors.  Repeat this step for your ribbon.
• Make your flower, I've made many videos in the past showing how to make this flower, if this is the first time you've visited my blog, here's the link Flower video..
• Place foam tape between each layer, and assemble as shown.

Cuckoo Clock Tag

Hi there dear friends, today I have a quick post and video to share with you.  It's a pretty easy project, and the video is only 3 minutes long, it was fun playing with Spellbinders Cuckoo Clock die template. 

I'm so excited because I'm leaving Thursday to go on a mini vacation with my good friend Tosha Leyendekker.  Back in May we registered for the Spellbound event in beautiful Pasadena, CA.  It doesn't get much better than that :)  Plus, while there I get to see my dear friends and fellow crafters from Spellbinders: Stacey, Kim, Cathy and Cindy are going to be there...  It's going to be fun, with lots of crafting, and I will try and post pictures while we are there.

Christmas Bling

Hello there, today I have a quick post sharing another Christmas Tag I made for a friend that loves bling as much as I do.  It's made with foam tape between each layer, and sponging the flower.  I love the tinsel, and dangles for a real bling factor.
