Today I wanted to try and make the sugar Easter Egg. The one's that had the big beautiful bow, and lots of candy decorations around the center. I was hoping you could see that the entire egg is covered with glitter, (never to much glitter.) I ran the egg through the Cuttlebug using the D'vine Swirls folder, and then through the Xyron machine to get all over coverage for the glitter.
I didn't want to go overboard with embellishments because of the glitter, so the bow is very large to help fill in some color.
All supplies are from Stampin' Up! unless otherwise noted.
Stamps: Delight in Life.
Stamp Pads: Black, Apricot Appeal, Pretty in Pink.
Cardstock: Whisper White, SU Designer Series Paper.
Misc.: Glitter, Button, Flirty Ribbon.
Non Stampin' Up!
Xyron 505, Cuttlebug - D'vine Swirls folder.
Like everything I'm seeing on your blog, this is gorgeous. You are very talented. I just love the egg shape; consider yourself CASE'd ... TFS!

Just awesome! I agree....never enough glitter! My mother made those sugar eggs when I was a kid, this totally reminded me of that. Did you use a template?
