I had to laugh… my last camcorder you could barely hear me talk, and my new one is just a little to loud even when I have the volume turned down half way. So, until I get this camcorder down, I will be making some adjustments with the next couple of video I make. However, I LOVE the quality of the picture!!! I was playing around last night, and I can get GOOD close ups when coloring with the Copic Markers which is wonderful, so I will be doing another one for you. As you will hear, I get very nervous when I make these only because it’s all new to me and I’m not a good closer – but I will get there.
I did not mention in the video how long your ribbon should be for this card. I always have way to much, but after you fold your ribbon in half, you will need the width of your card plus extra for your bow, sorry about that. I look forward to hearing from you, and seeing some of your cards.
I have provided the link to the complete card here for all supplies used on this card. I would love to hear your comments ;)
Thanks Linda
I really loved your tutorial on the Z card and how you explained the whole process.. I like to hear your voice telling how you do because hearing it makes it stick ...when you hear the words they stick in your memory..as a senior this is very helpful.
I loved all the detail you did to bring out the punched borders...and your right it does make it show up so much better and adds a little glitz at the same time..
Keep talking and sharing..we can listen to music anytime...but we can't always hear you...and hearing you makes it stick...
thanks
pat

Hi Linda, I have been a paper arts instructor locally here in Washington State for about 10 years and always love learning new ways with paper ;-) I have loved visiting your creative blog each day for inspiration over the last few months. I also have you listed as one of my favorite places to visit on my new blog: www.velvetinkcafe.blogspot.com
Thank you for your step by step video tutorials. They are wonderful!I am having loads of fun playing with Copic markers. I would also love to hear about the recent camera purchase because it does such a great job.
I appreciate your willingness to share and teach us how to be better "artists".

Linda, you have a very natural ability to teach and demonstrate. I enjoyed all of the videos so much and learned a ton. I am just starting to use Copic markers and have a fear of making "mud" by doing too much which is my normal mode. You not only demonstrated the blending, but I think I have overcome my fear of "mud". You are so very talented and are an inspiration to me and my decision to start stamping again. Blessings to you and thanks from the bottom of my Art! Louise

Could you please share some information about your new camera - what you selected and why? I cannot believe the difference it made - I could SEE, I could HEAR, WooHoo! Awesome tutorial - you attention to detail with the front and back, the scallops, making sure the folds worked on multiple layers (which is something most people forget), and the ribbon to cover the seam - fabulous!

Your tutorial got me out of a tight spot today...I needed a special baby card and this was perfect, I used the crafty secret child sitting on the books for a book themed gift -book basket gift. Thanks for teaching us so clearly! I would have never thought of layering 2 pieces of cs together. The marker tip makes it looked so trimmed like real eyelet lace! lisa ( iused PTI thicker CS; what do you suggest for the best thickness when doubling up?)

Great Job Linda!! I love printed instructions that I can keep - but being able to see the card actually made helps so much. So glad you're doing this for us.

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAHOOOOOO. Great video Linda. I have been stalking your blog for a long time and your cards leave me breathless. I am so looking forward to actually seeing you create your stunning cards. Your series of '12 women same style cards' last year have been viewed by anyone within eyesight of my computer, I can't look at them enough.
I just love your cards.
Hugs and happy Sunday

Linda, You did a great job! Nervous or not, I felt like I was in class and really learning something! This is such a great card and you made something that appears to be very hard to do, very easy! Thank you so much! I watched it 3 times and enjoyed it each time! I really do hope you do more of them! Hugs Lori
