Today, I stepped outside my comfort zone, and tried something new for this Adding Color Challenge. Plus, I used items I haven’t used in a long time. As much as I love Copic Markers, I thought this would be the perfect project to use the Tombow Markers on. After I colored in the water, I used the Mini Mister/water and lightly misted the image so the colors would blend for a softer look. Then I finished with the lady.
Be sure and check out the other Design Team Members (links below), and Crafty Secrets Blog.
- Stamp image with Archival Ink, because it’s waterproof.
- Color with TOMBOW Markers, mist with water and cut out.
- Apply Glossy Accents over water area’s, sprinkle with glitter.
- Take Glimmer Mist, and white cardstock to create background paper, I also use it on the cardboard, and Cheesecloth. Let dry.
- Tare bottom corner of background cardstock into three pieces, and sew in place. Curl the edges up, and tare just a little.
- Rub Gold stamp pad over cardboard at corners.
- Stamp Flourish in upper corner.
- Arrange Cheesecloth on card front.
- Attach background to cardboard with glue, let dry.
- Add embellishments as shown, and assemble.
Thanks for visiting – Linda ;)

Beautiful. Just found your blog last week and it is at the top of my favorites to check every day. I have tried using cheesecloth on some cards, what do you use to attach it to allow it so rumpled?
