Our challenge today was to make a Spring theme project. We could do Easter, birdies, or pastel springy theme, and combine any Crafty Secrets stamps sets with any Spring or Easter images.
I started out with vanilla, pink, and green; but ended up darker then intended. I did use a bird, and spring flowers LOL!!! The Burgundy card base is 6x6” in size. After cutting the the design in the vanilla cardstock, I sprayed water on it (quite a bit), being careful not to tare it. While wet, and working quickly I went around all detail with the TomBow Marker so it could run and create it’s own pattern. TomBow’s are water base markers so they were perfect for this. You will notice some area’s are darker then other’s but that’s what I like about it. Prismacolor Pencils were used on the little bird. I used the Gold Leafing Pen on various area’s of the card, and buttons. And that ribbon… adds the perfect touch.
