What a beautiful weekend this is turning out to be. The weather is nice, by granddaughter is coming over to spend the night with me, and we are going to go see a movie. Don't no what yet, but we are going. She is such a doll, seventeen going on thirty LOL!! Grandma does nothing but anything she wants when she comes to my house :)
For my card today, I used the new Birds at Home stamp set from Crafty Secrets, and the Mega Ovals Large Nestabilities™ #4 and 5 from Spellbinders™. The images are lovely I think, and fit perfect on the Ovals. The stamped oval was air brushed using Copic Markers, and the larger oval was sprayed with Glimmer Mist . For the flowers I used Spellbinders™ Flower Creations die template, and started with white cardstock, then sprayed more of the same color of Glimmer Mist. While the flowers were damp, I started shaping and working with them to achieve the results shown. When they were dry, I used the 2-Way glue pen and added some glitter. The ribbon was also sprayed with Glimmer Mist to try and tone down the Ivory, so the Ivory crochet lace would stand out more. Because I had a gap between the top of the flower and the flourish, I added the Renaissance Hearts Pendants individual Heart to fill it in, and added a button.
Hope you are enjoying you Holiday weekend, I will be back later with some more projects to share.
As always, thinks for visiting - Linda ;)

Linda, As always this cards is just fantastic! The flowers are to die for. Love how you cut out the branches again and used them to embellish your card. I forgot about pearl sprigs. I have some left over from making my BFF's wedding bouquet and all of bridemaids flowers. I'll be digging them out today so I don't forget about it! TFS!
