My project today is a photo of my mother from 1947. I found it in a huge box of old pictures when she passed away, and most of them were in really bad shape. So I had them restored, and saved on a CD. I’m not sure if you can see that she is wearing a beautiful dark blue, so that’s the color I used for my embellishments.
I used pigment ink for all stamped images, then covered with clear embossing powder and heat set. The background paper is from Crafty Secrets. And once again the ribbon adds the perfect touch.
Supplies:
Stamps: Message in a Bottle, Adore Alphabet, Flourish – Crafty Secrets.
Cardstock: Classic Paper Pad - Crafty Secrets. Very Vanilla – Brilliant Blue – Stampin’ Up!
Spellbinders™:: S4-110 Classic Oval Large #5, S4-112 Classic Oval Small Nestabilities.
Copic Markers: E53 Raw Silk, W1 Warm Gray No.1, E33 Sand – Eclectic Paperie.
Stamp Pads: Denim Ranger Adirondack Pigment Ink, Latte, Pitch Black Ranger Adirondack Dye Pad - Eclectic Paperie.
Ribbon: 100% Silk Ribbon - Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.
Misc.: Tape –3L, Clear and Gold Embossing Powder – Stampin’ Up! Martha Stewart Punch – Michael’s.
Great vintage work!!
