Today the Design Team was challenged to use a technique with Crafty Secrets Products and share how to do our technique with a video or step by step photos. So I made a cut little embroidery box. I had lost of fun making this one for sure. I have lots of pictures to share with you today, because I will be showing you step-by-step how I made this little box.
NOTE: My post is much earlier then the other designers due to me being on the west coast, and leaving for work. They should be up very soon ;)
Oh all other Design Team members and supplies are listed below:
I did some embroidery work on the stamped image
This darling package of needles cover is from Crafty Secrets - Sew Nice.
First paint box white inside and out.
Mass handles down so it will be easy to remove the lid. You will also see cracks, but that's OK.
Paint around edges with Antique Gold Acrylic paint, then sponge with darker ink pad.
Cover outside of box with cardstock.
I found a sponge that fit perfect in the lid, just needed to cut the correct thickness.
Cut material large enough to cover sponge.
Gather material, and use long fasteners to hold in place.
Right side.
I left enough room around the edges so when the lid is on the box, it will fit correctly.
Add tag, and clip art to the bottom of the box.
Cut felt using your dies. Do a base stitch around all flower layers, and gather just a little.
By gathering a little bit, can add shape to your flower.
Do the same thing for the leaves. Add a touch of glue to the end of the thread to hold.
Stick a decorative pin through the center of the heart chipboard, and color with the Gold leafing pen.
Be sure and visit the other ladies on the design team listed below. I'm sure they have some beautiful projects to share.

I just found your blog and your cards are beautiful. I just got a Big shot and I've notice all the amazing Spellbinders dies. They are a really neat product and looking at your cards they seem to add another beautiful element to card making.
