NOTE: My post today is posted earlier then the other Designers.
The Crafty Secrets Design Team challenge today was to use some new products that were recently released for CHA. So I thought I would use both the Birds at Home stamp set with the Birds & Blossoms Creative Scraps, that are a couple of my favorites.
I used a piece of chipboard from one of Crafty Secrets Vintage Postcard Kits, and covered it with the image from Birds & Blossom Creative Scraps. On Vanilla cardstock I stamped the birdcage, branch, and little bird then color with Copic Markers. Added glitter then attached to the main image as shown. On the back of the chipboard add lace along bottom, and cover with some decorative cardstock so you hide the lace edge and glue. Punch holes at the top so you can push ribbon through and tie a knot on each side. I made the flower using silk material that was 1x8”. Do a running stick with needle and thread along bottom of material, and gather until you get the look you want. I made mine tight so it would be small. Tie bow with smaller ribbon, and glue in place then add flower. I also made the stick pin ;) Cut and emboss the Tags 5 die template using Vanilla cardstock, and stamp sentiment.
Be sure a visit the other Design Team Members blogs listed below, I’m sure you will see some beautiful projects.
Thanks for visiting today – Linda ;)
