For our Crafty Secrets Design Team challenge today we were asked to use any of the newer Crafty Secrets Halloween products, and have fun. When you look at the photo’s below, you will notice some are with a white background, and some are with a black background. When I took my pictures with the black background, the images in the center had glare on them, when I used the white background you couldn’t see the netting around the edges, so I used a combination of both.
I painted the large chipboard with acrylic paint, then sponged with Distress Inks. Stamp the sun, tree and sentiment “Witching Hour”, then used Copic Markers to color them in. The image in the center is from Halloween Greetings Creative Scraps, and again the Copic Markers were used to add some pop! The gauze was put in water, then in Golden Oak wood stain, and let dry. Spellbinders bats and fence dies made the whole project come together, and the flowers were made from ribbon.
Again, we want to welcome Mary Hamer to the team, and please visit each of the Design Team members listed below.
Thanks for visiting – Linda ;)
