Our theme today is gifts for Autumn. I finished my card, but didn’t get much further, so I have no gift to share with you. But, I do like my card with this little witch :) I think she is just so cute. I wanted to work with colors in the image throughout the card, so pink and burgundy it is. I cut/embossed all templates used, then added glitter to the scalloped circle going around the image. With the sewing machine, I stitched along the edges of the long paper going up and down the card front, and distressed the edge of the cardstock for a vintage look. The leaves around the large flower and the small bow were made using wrinkle ribbon. The tiny pink flowers were purchased at Michael’s, but I made the large flower with fabric, then with the Tattered Rose Distress Ink pad, I lightly rubbed across the fabric, and sprayed water on it for a softer look. Assemble as shown.
I was asked what kind of glue I use when I make altered projects? I use Tombow MONO Aqua Liquid Glue, the flat end, not the pointed end. Then smooth/rub paper with the bone folder, using the bone folder will smooth out your paper. Hope this helps.
Have fun, and good luck - Linda ;)
