Hello everybody, it’s time for another Crafty Secrets Design Team Challenge, and this month it’s a Christmas Theme. As you know Crafty Secrets has lots of Christmas products to chose from, I just love all of their new stamps, Creative Scraps etc. etc. I could go on, and on. As always, my post is going live earlier then the rest of the team due to different time zones, and me leaving for work
Please give a warm welcome to our Guest Designer this month Anna Wight, we are so glad she is back because it's just like old times when she was a member of the Design Team (Hugs Anna ;).
I have two projects to share with you today, I'm sure just like all of you, we have family here for Thanksgiving, so I'm trying to post as many projects as I can now. As you know, it's hard to stamp while visiting LOL! I still have more tags and ornaments to make, but thought I would take a break, and start making a few cards to put in the mail for Christmas. Yep, these cards will be mailed so not as much 3D on these. I'm often asked how I mail my 3D cards... they are hand delivered because it would cost a fortune to put each of them in small boxes, but my cards today will be mailed.
My first card has one of my favorite images on it from the Christmas Images & Journal Notes (love all of them) but this one is my fav. I wanted to work with the same colors that were in the image throughout the entire card. The ivory ribbon, cardstock and glitter helped keep it from being so dark. All supplies are listed below.
My second card was made with a brand new stamp set called Angle Blessings, just a beautiful set! Because it's new, I won't have a link provided for you today, but I believe Sandy will have all the images posted over on the Heartwarming Vintage Blog, so check it out. Because the images are so delicate, I wanted to keep the card the same, (not a lot of fluff, just soft and pretty.) I used the Copic Markers to color them, and then cut them out. I even stamped the angel at the bottom twice so I could cut out the little wings, and add glitter (lightly.)
So, if I don't post again till after Thanksgiving I wish each of you a safe and a wonderful Holiday with your family and loved ones.
Don’t forget to visit the other Crafty Secrets Design Team Members listed below. I’m sure you will not be disappointed :)
Be creative my friends - Hugs Linda ♥

Linda, both the cards are wonderful! All of your special touches on the Santa card are lovely--the ribbon/lace, distressing and glittered frame. The angel card is so sweet and I love the elegant embossed BG, layered sentiment, dimensional accents and sparkle on their wings! Have a wonderful holiday visiting with family.
