Good Monday morning to all of you, and welcome to another Crafty Secrets Design Team Challenge. This month the Design Team was challenged to work with a "Party Themed" that was wide open, meaning it doesn't have to be for birthdays, it could be for any party theme, and we were to us Crafty Secrets products. I believe Sandy has a free crown and cone hat you can download over on the Heartwarming Vintage blog.
Since Alice in Wonderland is so popular right now, I thought I would have a little Tea Party with some cake. What I love about working with Alice in Wonderland, you're not restricted to colors, elegance, shabby, or just grungy, this movie had it all LOL!
Last week when I started working on this, I was only focused on making the cake, but thought I would do a simple invitation to match. I decided to make a different card, that's where the "Come to Tea with Alice" card came fro, It is totally different in style, but fun to make. I wanted the projects to be a little whimsy, just like the movie.
Be sure and visit the rest of the Design Team members listed below, I'm sure you will not be disappointed.
One more thing, you can click on the pictures to make them larger for eaiser viewing... (that's been the #1 request about my blog).
Thanks for visiting - Linda ❤

Here you can see how I line up my word stamps on ruled paper inside the die.
Once they are straight, put your acrylic block on them.
You are ready to stamp.
Just a simple invitation to match the colors on the cake.
I cut a small, round Paper Mache box on an angle, and covered it with white cardstock.
I will be posting a tutorial on how to make this flower this Friday here on my blog.
Here is a close up so you can see the slant in the cake.
