Hello there, and welcome to another E-Team Blog Hop. Today the teams mission was to create an altered project using Studio 490 stamp sets and art parts.. If you have never worked with Wendy's art parts before, they can be covered using many different mediums like paper, ink, stains, stickles, acrylic paint, metal etc, the possibilities are endless. Don't forget to visit Daisy at eclectic Paperie™ , and leave a comment, she will randomly choose two lucky winners who can win 1 Studio 490 stamp set, and 1 Art Parts Square & Rectangle Frame, and other fun surprises. Daisy will also select 1 additional winner (from eP's blog) to receive a $25 voucher for shopping at eclectic Paperie for simply leaving a comment about your favorite Mother's Day gift. It can be one you yourself received, or one you gave to your mom. Comments begin Friday (today) until Sunday, May 8th. Daisy will post all winners on eclectic Paperie's blog Monday May 9th.
NOTE: I forgot to mention that Daisy has a sale going on for (Studio 490) stamps and Art Parts, so be sure and visit eP for more details.
I picked Wendy's Art Parts Spool Set, and Art In Bloom stamp set because I love flowers, and I thought that little Spool set was darling, and the two together are so cute :) All of the cardstock used on this project is from pinkpaislee Butterfly Garden Collection. The leaves, bumble bee and circles are from Spellbinders. Filling the little bottles with Peony Dew Drops added the weight needed to hold the large flower, and were perfect in color. I glued wire between the layers of the bee (cut/embossed two bees from regular cardstock and two from vellum cardstock) then put the other end into the bottle to hold in place.
Here's is a link to Wendy's blog for some more great inspiration.
Be sure and visit the rest of the Design Team members listed below.
