Hello there, and welcome to the first eclectic Paperie challenge. Today’s challenge is open to everyone, but you need to use the following three materials on your creation, somehow just like the E-Team did.
The three items required for your challenge project are:
- Distress Stains.
- Any kind of die from any kind of die cut machine.
- And an egg carton.
I hope you come and join us, I can't wait to see what you create :)
Before I get started about my project, don't forget to visit Daisy at eclectic Paperie™, she will randomly choose two lucky winners from comments left on all Design Team Member blogs that make you eligible for the prizes listed on eP’s blog. Comments begin Friday August 12th (today) through Sunday, August 14th, and Daisy will post two winners on the eclectic Paperie™ blog Monday, August 15th.
As for my project today… I couldn’t get past the egg carton part LOL!! So I did the next best thing, and pulled out these spookie ceramic egg charactors I made/painted back in 1995/96 with my kids. I’m not sure how many people know, but a long time ago I was a Certified Instructor for Duncan Enterprizes, one of the largest Ceramic Companies in the nation. I would travel to different Ceramic Shops, and teach painting classes using their products. I loved it, it was my passion, so I felt that my little spooks would look great in this egg carton with the Halloween background using Spellbinders die templates. It works for me LOL! I stained the gauze material, and egg carton with distress stains :)
Be sure and visit the rest of the Design Team listed below, beautiful projects await.
Good luck, and thanks for visiting today.

This is Doc.

Stamp Pads: Black Soot, Spiced Marmalade, Dusty Concord, Shabby Shutters, Vintage Photo - Distress Ink - eclectic Paperie.
Cardstock: Summer Sun, Basic Black - Stampin' Up!

Your little scary friends have a great place to perch in your grungy egg carton. It's perfect for holding the little rolypoly guys.
I did ceramics back in the '70s/'80s and loved every minute of it. My favourite was underpainting and glazing but loved all the other techniques too.
Thanks for sharing! :)

Well that seem to come together perfectly didn't it? Your little ceramic characters fit nicely in the egg pockets. The Halloween characters look like something you'd see in the store, that's pretty amazing you and your kids painted those. Great idea. Thank you for sharing and inspiring.
