Welcome to another Saturday of Ribbon Inspiration/Stamp Simply Style. This week the design team was to focus on checks in our designs, either with paper or ribbon. The only thing I had with checks, was the ribbon I used on today's card, but because today is St. Patrick's Day I thought it was fitting LOL!!
As always, this is a Mystery Blog Candy, meaning the winner will be drawn from comments on one of today’s participating blogs, so leaving a comment on each blog will greatly increase your chances of winning, but only one comment per blog, please. The winner will be selected at 6 p.m. Eastern time on Tuesday, March 20 and will be posted on Sharon's blog on Wednesday or thereafter. You must check back to claim your prize if you are the lucky winner!
If someone would have told me a few days ago, that I was going to be joining today's activities as a "designer" with the ladies from The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store, I would have thought they were joking. But, here I am back working with these lovely ladies once again, and thrilled to be here, and will participate as often as I can. Thanks ladies for the warm welcome back :)
Not only is today St. Patrick's Day, but we are going to an Irish wedding this afternoon for one of the Firemen my DH used to work with. This couple is VERY Irish, so much so the groom, and groom's men will be wareing kilts... I gotta see this LOL!! If I can, and think about it, I will take pictures. I can only imagine Firemen... Kilts... what a good combo :) Anyway, today's card is for their wedding.
Don't forget about leaving a comment on each blog listed below to increase your chances of winning.
Have fun as you visit the talented designs listed below:

Don't know about you Linda, But I think guys in kilts are totally sexy (and I'm 68)! Perhaps it has something to do with my Scottish heritage and reading all those Diana Gabaldon books. Seriously, I loved your Irish card and bet the recipients did too.

Linda, Linda, Linda, what an absolutely gorgeous card! Your work is consistently lovely and I am "green" with envy...I am in love with ribbon and have ribbons all over my workroom, which my kitten loves to get into. I love the fact that patterns were mixed with this card...and I love the color green. How pleased your bride and groom will be with this card...a definite keepsake! I look forward to your future designs...

I love the use of the ticking with gingham: who would have thought? Tying it all together with the same color is perfect. I usually think of gingham as casual, but this is definitely elegant. Thanks for the inspiration!

Beautiful! LOL We are going to a wedding today too! The only details I know are the bridesmaids dress are green, of course, and they put mason jars with flowers on all the tables for the reception! I have no idea what it will be like but I can't say I've ever been more intrigued going to a wedding! I know they will cherish your card!

Absolutely Beautiful! Lovely greens and such a pretty bow! Oh, have a fun day at the Irish wedding. Brings back memories of the Irish family (straight from the emerald isle) that lived across the street from us in the city. A horse drawn carriage took the bride to the big church several blocks away. It seemed so magical to me as a young girl then.
