It's an absolutely lovely card with limited supplies. Hard to believe you did such beautiful watercoloring on non-watercolor paper. Very nice. Love the teapot and cup. What a fabulous crafting space you have at home! My room is a postage stamp overflowing with supplies. I'm sorry about your MIL. You'll never regret the time you spent with her. My Mom passed one month after her diagnosis and I spent every moment with her when I wasn't at work.

So sorry to hear about your MIL, but I'm glad you and your DH are able to spend so much time with her!!

BTW, your room has just turned my eyes very green with envy!! As I got kicked out of my room and am now trying to downsize to a corner of my bedroom, I can totally sympathize with the limited supplies. But only a little bit!! You still have your room, LOL!!

Keeping you in my thoughts!

Lovely card done while you are concentrating on something else. Thoughts and prayers to you. A very close friend just passed from a 3 year bout with bone cancer and I miss her everyday. Enjoy your time with your MIL even if it is just holding her hand.

We, too, went through the ovarian cancer battle with my MIL. She had a nutritionist who put her on some supplements and a Macro-Biotic diet along with her chemo and such. It was a stage 4 cancer and they gave her 6 months. She got, instead, a relatively active 7 years!! One can never tell about cancer.

You two are so great to be there for her in this way!!

I go to crafting Meetup meetings and know how hard it is to pack for projects done outside the craft room!! Your card is so simple yet elegant... a good example of doing with what you have?

My mother died this past January of ovarian cancer. she lived 2.5 years after her dxs.
But without chemo she would have only had a few months as it had spread throughout.
Anyway she passed away just a few days from her 81st birthday and we were able to enjoy those last few years with her.
Good luck and our prayers are with you and your family.

Continued thoughts and prayers to you and your family.

I'm so sorry to hear about your MIL. I will keep her and your family in my prayers.

Linda, I am so sorry to hear you are going through this. We had a similar time when my dh's mom was diagnosed with colon cancer. It's so hard to watch someone you love fade away before your very eyes. I pray you will find strength for each day's journey, and joy along the way, too. Be extra good to yourself. Your card is just lovely...amazing what you did with just a few things on hand. Sending you love....

Linda, I am sorry to hear this news about your MIL. I know how sad it is it take care of an ill parent. My heart is with you and your family.

I can only imagine how hard it is to try and pick out all the stuff you want to take with your to work with while away from home. Your card today is lovely.

ps......never worry that your spellcheck changes the "ie" to a "y" on my name when you comment. I never care. Hugs to you!
