Welcome to the third day of the Spellbinders Paper Arts™ Diamond Anniversary: Sneak Peek and Giveaway! the newest 3D M-Bossabilities folder being released at the Winter 2014 Craft and Hobby Association trade show! You will have the chance to win the new embossing folder I have used by entering the contest at the bottom of this post. Join me and Darsie Bruno from Crafting with Darsie as we share more projects in this fabulous Sneak Peek Event!
Today, I’ve created two projects showcasing Spellbinders newest 4¼” X 5½” 3D M-Bossabilities Folder: Ornate Labels One to be used with your Grand Calibur. I’ve always loved the look of anything that’s whitewashed, so for my first project I created a whitewashed background to enhance a pretty flower, and the Ornate Labels One Folder was perfect to achieve that. I’ve also created a video showing you how easy this is to do.
Supplies used:
- S4-161 Labels One (used for second card below)
Cross Promotional Partners
You will also need:
- Stampin’ Up! Sahara Sand, and Whisper White cardstock.
- Ranger Bundled Sage Distress Ink.
- Ranger Glossy Accents.
- Darsie Bruno Decorative Stickpin.
- 3D Foam Squares.
- Pearl.
- Q-Tip.
Instruction included in video.
Here is another project I created using E3DS 044 Ornate Labels One
For my second project, I started by cutting/embossing Grand Rectangles #3 and Decorative Labels One die Templates with white cardstock. Next, I placed the rectangle cardstock in the Ornate Labels One folder, sprits’ with water and emboss, add pop dots to the back, adhere to the card front created by tracing around the Grand Rectangle #3, and cut out with scissors.
Next, I cut Whisper White cardstock large enough to cover the design in the Ornate Labels One folder, sprits’ with water and emboss. Now fussy cut (see picture below) around the design, and adhere to card front using pop dots. I love the simple yet elegant look of this card, and I hope you give it a try.
My sentiment is from JustRite Papercraft Botanical Medallions Banners clear stamp set. All of my cardstock is from Stampn’ Up! My layers are popped up using SCRAPBOOK ADHESIVES by 3L™ White Foam Dots and I finished the card with KaiserCraft pearls, and a pretty May Arts silk ribbon bow.
