Hello there! Today is my turn to post a project for the 12 Days of Clean and Simple Christmas at The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store Blog.
Today’s Christmas Tag is a favorite of mine I just love the soft look. I cut/embossed the Poinsettia and leaves, then sponged each layer with Distress Ink. The little gold foil peaking out from under the flower is Tinsel wire that I found at Hobby Lobby, which adds a little extra bling to the tag. All I had to do was cut the wire the length I needed, formed a circle, and glued it to the bottom of the flower. The rest of the tag is just layering paper, ribbon and gold cord, and then distressing the edges of the cardstock using the Distrezz-it-All tool.
That’s it for today; I will be back again tomorrow with another project. Remember all supplies are listed below with links.
Thanks for visiting - Linda {{{Hugs}}} ❤❤

Good evening Linda,,
Oh how i do love this tag and although i don't like distressed looking items anywhere else, i do yours as they always looks as if they came that way and it through cherishing for years and having a look at every know and then that they have went that way. It always amazes me that they are brand new designs and it is your clever touch that gives them that much loved look. Thank you Linda for the inspiration that you always give,
Love and crafty hugs

Inspiring! I always love the cream on cream look. The ladies in my papercrafting class at the local senior center love the very dimensional cards and this was the perfect inspiration for the card we will be making. They have all been given your blog address and been urged to subscribe because you are one of my favorite designers and they can learn so much from you in my never-to-be-humble opinion! Since that shiny gold paper is relatively expensive and I try to keep costs down for their kits, I cut a window in the middle of my gold piece and then pop-dotted the next layer over it. Leaves lots of gold paper for more Christmas cards for the ladies... Thank you for always being ready with the next gorgeous creation to keep us wanting more!

Beautiful Linda! I love the idea of making tags for gifts or in place of a card. They are beautiful and can be kept for years.
