Welcome to the second day of the Spellbinders Paper Arts™ Winter CHA 2015 Sneak Peek and Giveaway! I am so excited to share some of the newest die templates being released at the Winter 2015 Craft and Hobby Association trade show! You will have the chance to win the new die templates I am using today by entering the contest at the bottom of this post. Join me and Jennifer Ingle for this fabulous Sneak Peek Event!
I’ve created two projects, and a video for you so you can see how versatile Spellbinders dies can be. In my video I try to give you as many tips, and tricks as I can so you can see how easy it is to work with these amazing new products.
I am showcasing Spellbinders newest die templates: S2-165 Peony and Interchangeable folder IF-007 XOXO, along with the Stylus for the Tool n One (coming soon).
All of you know how much I love to make flowers; so working with the new Peony die template and Stylus was exciting. In addition, I liked how versatile the XOXO interchangeable folder is, and enjoyed creating my card front with it. So grab a cup of coffee, and lets get started.
Supply List:
S2-165 Peony
IF-007 XOXO
Cross Promotional Partners
May Arts 1/4" White Silk Ribbon
To make this card you will also need:
Quilling Tool, Decorative Stick Pin, Y21, G12, R81 & YG03 Copic Markers, Venise Lace, White Cardstock.
*************
I created a second project using the interchangeable XOXO interchangeable embossing folder
I created the cardfront, and sentiment the same way as shown in the video above, only this time I used the letterpress technique on white cardstock. With my scissors, I cut three different lengths of decorative paper to create a ribbon look down the side of the card, making sure it was tucked under the label. Next, I created the rose using the Bitty Blossoms die template, and shading with Distress Ink, and finishing it off with a pretty double bow made with May Arts Pink Seam Binding.
Supply List:
IF-007 XOXO
To make card you will also need:
KaiserCraft’s Key to my Heart 6 ½” Paper Pad, White Cardstock, Ranger Distress Inks, Sponge, Pink May Art Seam Binding, 3D Foam Squares.
