12 Days of Christmas Clean and Simple

Hello there, I’m excited to share my first Christmas project for the 12 Days of a Clean and Simple Christmas over at The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.  Everyday from September 29^th – October 10^th the Design Team will be sharing CAS (Clean And Simple) Christmas cards/projects on the The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store Blog.

Joy to the World Christmas Ornament

Hello there, I’m back today with another Christmas Ornament to share, plus I will be back tomorrow with a project for the Stamp Simply Ribbon Store’s 12 Days of Christmas Clean and Simple event you can read about here.

Today’s project was fun and fast to make, I let the die templates and pretty paper do all the work.  All I did was put it together LOL!

Merry Christmas Ornament/Tag/Ornament

Hello there it’s been awhile for sure, dear hubby and I have been relaxing and taking a little time to ourselves to do absolutely nothing if we can help it LOL! 

I’m running a little behind on making my Christmas tags/ornaments again this year, and I thought I better get started, so today I’m sharing a Vintage/Shabby Chic Christmas Ornament/tag.  I haven’t made up my mind if this is a card, ornament, or a tag, but I like how it turned out.

Peace Christmas Tag

Hello again, today I wanted to share another Christmas ornament, (I made this one for myself) lol.  As you know I love all things Vintage, and this ornament fits right in with how I decorate my home for the Holidays, bling and lots of it.  I couldn't get a great picture of the detail, but it has LOTS of bling/glitter in the center with silver liquid leaf painted on it.   In real life, it's much prettier than what shows in the picture (not as dark).

Let it Snow

Hello again, I'm back with my first Christmas tag for 2014, I love this time of year :)  I thought this little Winter Owl from Spellbinders was so cute I wanted to try and make something with it so, I made a little snow scene.  I started with gray cardstock, and drybrushed white Gesso on everything, leaving some darker areas for depth.  When I finished, the little owl matched the background, so I added some blue to help give it a little pop.

Christmas Magic

Hello and welcome, I'm back today with a quick post to share.  I'm sure most of you are busy running around doing your last minute Christmas shopping/preparation.  We had our Christmas get together on the 15th, but this year DH and I are doing a little something just for us.  Hazel (MIL) is spending a few days with Jim's sisters, so we have a few days to do something together.  It's been awhile (June) since we've been by ourselves, so we want to make the most of it.

Today's tag has layers, flowers, and pretty red ribbon.  The little red bling was left overs from another project I made a while back,  but added the perfect finishing touch.

Merry & Bright Christmas Card

Hello again, I'm playing catch up trying to get some of my Christmas projects posted before Christmas Day.  Even though I didn't have a computer I was busy creating, now its the posting part LOL!  

One of my favorite dies for Christmas is this little Reindeer.  I wanted to give him a little bling, so I added tinsel, red rhinestones around his neck, and a blanket on his back.  The rest of the card is layered with foam square's between each decorative layer, and gold pen work around the edges.

Enjoy the Moments - Ornament/Tag

Hello and welcome, I'm back, but I had to break down and buy a new computer... a girls got to do what a girls got to do LOL!  Now I'm loading all the programs I had on the old computer to the new one...  It takes so long to update everything I won't even talk about what I had to go through to get my email account up and running... (nightmare).  But, things are looking up, so far so good, and I'm excited to be back, I have lots to catch up on :).  Also, thank you for being so patient.

When I started this ornament/tag, I wasn’t sure what I would end up with I just knew I loved the decorative paper, and the lace around the outside.  Because the lace only had the gold thread showing on one side, I ended up having to put a second layer (picture below).

Christmas Star Ornament

Hello dear blog friends, I hope your Thanksgiving was wonderful, and your weekend is relaxing.  We are getting ready to put up our Christmas Tree and decorate the house, so once again this will be a short post, they are waiting for me in the living-room :)  

I love today's ornament/tag, it has a lot of dimension with the way the star was made.  I tried to get a good picture showing you the dimension of the star from the side, and the Poinsettia was a must.

Greetings, Christmas Card

Hello there, are you running around getting ready for your Thanksgiving Day activities?  I know I am LOL!!  But it’s the kind of running that’s exciting and fun, because it’s about our families getting together, sharing wonderful conversations, and making fun memories.  Most important for us this year is we have Hazel here with us, and for that we are very thankful.  My wish for you is that you have the happiest of Thanksgivings with your families/friends, and God Bless you all.

Today’s card is one of my favorites, because I LOVE anything that has a Vintage Santa on it.  I collect both Vintage Snowmen and Santa’s; and display them proudly through the Christmas Season, so this card came easy for me.
