Hello dear friends, today I have a fun little tag to share with you. I used acrylic paint (Ivory) and a stiff paintbrush to create texture on the Victorian Accents die template, and then sponged Bayberry acrylic paint (sparingly).  Still working on the die’s, I used the paintbrush and Distress Inks (listed below) to create the darker areas, then I cut vanilla cardstock using scissors to create (2) tags for the base.  I tore, and ruffed up the tag on top to create the worn look, then sponged with Distress Inks, and glued lace along the bottom and side.  I stamped and distressed the Live, Love, Laugh, and attached them using 3D foam squares.  For the final step I glued the top tag to the bottom tag, and tied seam binding to the top, and added the rhinestones.

Happily Ever After

Hi there dear blog friends, today I have a quick post to share with you, and I will be back again late tomorrow evening with another project for you.  I’ve been so sick… today is the first day in about a week that I felt like getting out of bed LOL! 

Love the vintage/shabby chic feel of the tag, and the colors are so lovely…  I used the new Victoria Border Strip down the center, and added some beautiful lace and a silk ribbon.

The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store – 12 Days of Clean and Simple Christmas – Noel Christmas Tag.

Hello there! Today is my turn to post a project for the 12 Days of Clean and Simple Christmas at The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store Blog.

Today’s Christmas Tag is a favorite of mine I just love the soft look. I cut/embossed the Poinsettia and leaves, then sponged each layer with Distress Ink.  The little gold foil peaking out from under the flower is Tinsel wire that I found at Hobby Lobby, which adds a little extra bling to the tag.  All I had to do was cut the wire the length I needed, formed a circle, and glued it to the bottom of the flower.  The rest of the tag is just layering paper, ribbon and gold cord, and then distressing the edges of the cardstock using the Distrezz-it-All tool.

Wedding Tag

Hello there, this is going to be a very short post because I’m running a little behind LOL!  I’m almost finished with another project that will be posted very soon.

Today’s project is a tag that’s going on a wedding gift.  I don’t know about you, but when I think of weddings, I think of lace, ribbon and bling; and this tag has lots of each.

Hello there it’s been awhile for sure, dear hubby and I have been relaxing and taking a little time to ourselves to do absolutely nothing if we can help it LOL!

Peace Christmas Tag

Hello again, today I wanted to share another Christmas ornament, (I made this one for myself) lol.  As you know I love all things Vintage, and this ornament fits right in with how I decorate my home for the Holidays, bling and lots of it.  I couldn't get a great picture of the detail, but it has LOTS of bling/glitter in the center with silver liquid leaf painted on it.   In real life, it's much prettier than what shows in the picture (not as dark).

Let it Snow

Hello again, I'm back with my first Christmas tag for 2014, I love this time of year :)  I thought this little Winter Owl from Spellbinders was so cute I wanted to try and make something with it so, I made a little snow scene.  I started with gray cardstock, and drybrushed white Gesso on everything, leaving some darker areas for depth.  When I finished, the little owl matched the background, so I added some blue to help give it a little pop.
